Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop prospect leads and accounts to target
  • Build relationships with prospective clients
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Analyze the market and establish competitive advantages
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Keep constant track of the industrial market & corresponding investment transactions worldwide
  • Run Email campaigns to engage cold leads and convert them into warm leads
  • Get constant feedback from the US Sales team on the quality of leads
  • Prospecting using multiple channels such as email campaigns, calls, amongst others
  • Work requires extending late hours into the night (India time) due to target geographies (US, Canada, Europe)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience in a sales/business development role
  • Experience in the full sales cycle
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and market research
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong research and data analytics skills
  • CRM experience is a must (Hubspot preferred)
  • The US and Europe prospecting background is highly preferred
  • Manufacturing industry exposure would be a plus, but not a mandate

Desired Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in lead generation and qualifications. They should be confident in being the first point of contact for new prospects and communicating the value of the service quickly and briefly. They should have evidence of strong communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and possess good negotiation skills.
